These included billboards, point-of-sale and magazine ads, but also to the production of 21 different beer cans and 12 different beer labels for the Schmidt Beer brand. There are a lot of complete sets of the beer cans in collectors' hands, but only a very few people have a complete mint set of the twelve different beer labels (actually, there were 36 if you count the "Less than 3.2%", "Strong" and those with no indication of strength). But, due to a number of fortuitous events, in the 1970's, I befriended Russ Cleary, the president of G. Heileman Brewing (then the owners of the Schmidt labels). When he learned that I collected labels, he told an employee to make sure that I received about 30 of each and every kind and strength and size of each Heileman product from all the various breweries they operated across the country. Thus, I am one of the few individuals able to offer these complete sets to label collectors (look under US Beer Labels and then under "Label Groups"). I have only a few (3) compete sets of 36, but a larger number of the 12 different designs, all of a given alcohol content. And just in case you missed out on the Schmidt can sets, I also have a couple of these available -- or individual cans to complete your sets (sets are listed under "US Beer Cans" and then "Tab Top Cans"). Contact me if you need individual cans or labels.
